Scheduled, unattended flights
The value is repetition. A dock that flies the same route every night with no pilot on shift is what replaces a walking patrol.
Alarm response
When a sensor trips, the aircraft needs to be overhead in minutes, not at the next scheduled flight. Look for integrations between the dock and your alarm or VMS platform.
Night identification at range
Thermal has to separate a person from a deer from a fence post at patrol altitude, with a visible camera for identification once the target is located.
