Care & Maintenance

Mounting & Alignment
  • Ensure the clip-on is properly aligned with your day scope's objective — misalignment causes image shift.
  • Re-check mount tension after the first 5 shots; mounts can settle during initial use.
  • Use only the included mounting hardware — aftermarket mounts may not maintain alignment.
Lens Care
  • Clean both the front (thermal) and rear (optical) lenses with microfiber cloths only.
  • Keep both lens caps on during storage and transport.
  • Blow off dust before wiping to protect the germanium coating.
Storage & Environment
  • Store detached from your rifle in its protective case.
  • Avoid extreme heat — the thermal sensor degrades with prolonged high-temperature exposure.
  • Store batteries separately for long-term storage.
